People Development and Engagement Management

Target

  • There are no issues or wrongdoing related to unfair employment practices, based on principles of gender equality and diversity, which reflect gender balance at all levels of hiring according to employees' genuine abilities and potential.
  • Employees exhibit a commitment level to the organization of no less than 78%
  • At all levels, employees have successfully completed training and assessments on organizational code of conduct, along with achieving 100% alignment with the personnel development plan for their growth.

Management Approach

  1. Respect the fundamental human rights of employees by treating everyone equally and promoting employee self-protection, allowing them to lodge complaints through the Whistle Blower system if they encounter inappropriate incidents.
  2. Establish a Welfare Committee within the workplace union to advocate for employee welfare policies.
  3. Implementing a fair Objectives and Key Results (OKR) performance evaluation system involves utilizing a 360-degree approach combined with agile conversations.
  4. Conduct an annual organizational engagement survey (People Voice) to listen to employees' opinions and needs. This includes aspects such as satisfaction and commitment to the organization, work experience, organizational culture, happiness, stress management, supervisors, values, and work goals. The insights are used to continuously improve work processes.
  5. There is an Individual Development Plans (IDPs) system in place to promote and develop employees' potential according to their respective job positions (Functional Competency). The Academy department is responsible for organizing interesting and high-quality training courses for employees throughout the organization equally throughout the year.

Management Approach

  1. Establish guidelines to enhance the operational efficiency of partners in the areas of governance, social, and environmental (ESG) under the supervision of the procurement department, with the highest level of reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. Reporting levels are divided according to specific procurement areas as follows:
    • Strategic goods and services, general goods, marketing promotion activities, and information technology, reporting directly to the Head of Finance, Accounting, and Risk Management.
    • Construction contractor procurement, reporting directly to the Head of Business Development and Project Construction.
  2. The establishment of Code of Conduct for Suppliers serves as a framework for ESG practices. Partners must acknowledge these guidelines before registering as vendors with the company.
  3. An ESG assessment is conducted prior to vendor registration, or through a pre-qualified vendor self-assessment. Hence, partners with superior ESG performance are prioritized and registered earlier. Consider preferring supplier with better ESG performance for supplier selection and contract awarding.
  4. Quality assessments of partners occur with every delivery of goods or services, in conjunction with compliance to regulations and ESG criteria. These assessments are conducted every 6 months.
  5. Partners failing to meet standards or violating conditions are placed under review for blacklisting. They are required to submit a Corrective Action Plan within a specified timeframe, followed by re-evaluation by the respective department and committee for potential delisting or removal from the blacklist as per regulations.
  6. Continuous training in supply chain management is provided to procurement and related departments on a regular basis.
  7. Continuously reviewed of purchasing practices. This is to ensure an alignment with the Company’s Suppliers Code of Conduct and to avoid any potential conflicts that might be happen to ESG requirements.

Target

  • Fostering trade areas for public welfare, including ensuring communities and farmers receive no less than 130 million baht annually.
  • Providing support and assistance to communities in a suitable manner throughout different periods.

Management Approach

  1. Allocate space for a fully equipped Government Service Center or Government Center.
  2. Provide support by offering rent-free space for farmers and community products.
  3. Create community benefits around the project during development and construction phases, such as expanding transportation channels, enhancing surrounding landscapes for convenience, cleanliness, and aesthetics, as well as managing pre-construction spaces for community benefits.
  4. Encourage employee volunteering for societal assistance while supporting budget allocations for community development opportunities.
  5. Aid in disaster relief efforts and charitable donations through various foundations.

Management Approach

  1. The company establishes policies and practices regarding equity for each stakeholder group and has internal controls in place.
  2. Adheres to UNDP principles and conducts comprehensive Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) every 2 years.
  3. Conducts Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Environment and Health Impact Assessments (EHIA) for all development projects as mandated by law.
  4. Implements stringent registration and labor law compliance measures, especially for foreign workers who must be registered according to regulations and notify project management. Random document checks for legal labor hiring are conducted by consulting teams and provincial labor authorities.
  5. Ensures the protection of stakeholders' rights and establishes systematic procedures for remedial actions in case of rights violations, including compensation not below the legal rate.

  • The fatality rate of employees and contractors at work is "zero."
  • The lost time injury frequency rate (LTIFR) of employees and contractors at work is "zero."
  • The Occupational illness frequency rate (OIFR) of employees and contractors at work is "zero."

Management Approach

  1. Establish the Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment Committee (OSH&E Committee) to advocate for comprehensive safety policies and plans throughout the organization.
  2. Implement a Smart Property system to record safety statistics for all branches, covering incident reports related to personal and property damages for each stakeholder group. This system facilitates periodic safety status reviews in accordance with standards and comprehensive care.
  3. Generate statistical reports and impact severity levels for the Risk Management Committee and Human Resources Development Committee, driving safety policy discussions with management. Prioritize planning improvements, track progress at least quarterly or as relevant, and monitor operational progress regularly.
  4. All personnel share the responsibility for collectively ensuring compliance with rules, regulations, standards, and operational procedures related to health and safety. Additionally, specific training and readiness preparations are provided to relevant personnel. Regular risk assessments are conducted to identify and prevent potential risks, with systematic management and preparedness to address and rectify risk situations according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  5. The company supports a conducive and safe working environment with preventive measures and risk controls in place. Additionally, efficient safety maintenance and alert systems are installed in sufficient quantities to ensure workplace safety within office premises and operational facilities.
  6. We listen to and act upon customer feedback fairly and appropriately, aiming to create customer satisfaction by providing services that meet standards and ensure safety for health, wellness, life, and property.
  7. External safety experts are appointed to inspect contractors' safety on construction sites. In case of identified risks, a Safety Improvement Report (SIR) is issued to initiate corrective actions as per the Corrective Action Plan.
